Indianapolis, In. – At this year’s Work Truck Week, Masterack introduced new upfit innovations designed to help fleets operate more efficiently, safely, and productively in the field. From advanced ladder rack ergonomics to smarter storage and mobile workspace solutions, the latest lineup reflects a continued focus on real-world performance and customer-driven design.
Together, these new and enhanced products demonstrate Masterack’s commitment to evolving with the needs of modern trades and fleet operators.
A highlight of the booth was the debut of the all-new UPLYFT 2.0 ladder rack. Built on a re-engineered, capstan-driven drop-down system, the updated design significantly reduces the physical effort required to load and unload ladders.
By redistributing force more evenly throughout the motion cycle, UPLYFT 2.0 reduces peak operating effort by more than 80% compared to the previous generation. The result is smoother, more controlled operation that minimizes strain on technicians while improving day-to-day usability.
Masterack also introduced its re-engineered van shelving system, designed to simplify installation while improving flexibility in the field. The new slot-and-tab shelf construction allows for faster, more intuitive assembly, helping reduce installation time without compromising strength. Additional features, including integrated accessory mounting options and updated finishes, further improve organization and usability. The result is a cleaner, more efficient cargo area.
Building on the success of its Cargo Guard lineup, Masterack unveiled the Cargo Guard Duo — a new solution designed to bring secure, organized storage to a wider range of pickup platforms. The Cargo Guard Duo features a split-lid tonneau cover paired with integrated side-access toolboxes, allowing technicians to access tools and equipment quickly from either side of the vehicle.
Purpose-built for platforms like the Ford Maverick, the Duo reflects a growing need for compact, highly functional upfit solutions that align with how today’s vehicles are being used in the field.
Another standout innovation was the CargoPOD Pro, a versatile, slide-out workstation designed to addresses a common challenge for field-based teams: the need for a reliable, adaptable workspace that doesn’t compromise mobility or storage capacity.
Engineered to fit within a van cargo area or pickup bed, the CargoPOD Pro transforms from a compact storage unit into a fully functional, free-standing workbench. With integrated tool storage, durable construction, and a portable design, it enables professionals to stay organized and productive wherever the job takes them.
Across all products on display, a common theme emerged – solutions built not just for vehicles, but for the people who rely on them every day. From reducing physical strain and improving safety, to increasing organization and maximizing usable space, Masterack’s latest innovations are grounded in practical benefits that translate directly to improved efficiency in the field.
Work Truck Week provided an ideal platform for Masterack, alongside fellow JB Poindexter & Co. companies, to showcase how our solutions come together to support fleets of all sizes across a wide range of industries. As fleet demands continue to evolve, Masterack remains focused on delivering upfit systems that are durable, adaptable, and purpose-built for real work.
